    Position Summary

    DWF is looking for a General Manager who has:

    • Strong leadership qualities with experience in people management.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Ensure implementation and adoption of DWF’s new operating system.
    • Assist Branch Manager in implementing sales strategies after reviewing daily sales, margin and inventory reports.
    • Monitor vendor performance and relationships.
    • Execute and/or monitor purchasing to maximize sales, gross profits and inventory turns while minimizing product dumps and write-offs.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to employees with follow up and coaching as necessary.
    • Manage and participate in daily operations such as packing, invoicing, loading trucks, etc.
    • Walk coolers daily to review temperatures, inventory levels and product quality.
    • Ideally, this position has the opportunity for further leadership opportunities.
